Civil Liberties in the Digital Age

As your congressional representative, I will immediately introduce the "Digital Liberties Amendment."  I will work every day to send the following along to the States for ratification:

All data pertaining to the identity of a person, or arising from the economic activity of a person, and all information arising from the data, shall remain the property of the person.

This will drive a stake through the heart of the surveillance state.  It will secure every American's property rights to all data about them, or arising from their activity in the economy.
